  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Support factory and engineering objectives.
  • Follows and assists in the refinement of standard operating procedures for process execution and manual/automated equipment operation.
  • Assist in thin-film solar module fabrication (deposition, cleaning, laser, materials, lamination, stringing/tabbing, testing, etc.) all on glass to improve product performance.
  • Coordinate with the team at all times, maintaining clear and open lines of communication.
  • Collect data and ensure that it is entirely accurate.
  • Assist supply chain with consumables monitoring.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes.
  • Follow 5S program operational practices.


  • HS diploma (minimum) or higher education degree (preferred).
  • 3+ years of semiconductor/microelectronics/solar/glass coating/processing or equivalent industry fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge of wet/dry, CVD, PVD, ALD, vacuum processes, glass handling/process equipment.
  • The learning agility to master manufacturing tools and automation solutions.
  • Thin film characterization experience such as transmission/reflection, Electro/Photo-luminescence, sheet resistance, film thickness, microscopy, and electrical measurements.
  • Must have experience working in a R&D and/or high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Experience or familiarity with photovoltaic fabrication preferred yet not required.
  • Highly developed attention to detail, observation skills, personal integrity, communication ability and desire to learn.
  • Knowledge or experience in SPC process control and MES controlled systems.

Compensation Range:
$47,000 – $93,000
